You Shall Know Them by Their Fruits

 This admonition is given to us by Jesus. He warns us to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. Many churchgoers in America and the Western, formerly Christian world have ignored this warning. Partly because they don't know Scripture. When you don't know and understand your own book, it's easier for said book to be twisted by evil people. This has happened so much that it can only be of God. It's His judgment. It's been going on for centuries, and has led to millions upon millions being deceived. It continues still today, made worse by the internet. 

A prime example of this would be the liberal 'church'. These false teachers call themselves Christians, but their fruits say otherwise. They are buildings, not churches, but synagogues of Satan, 'pastored' by women and effeminate men who say God is ok with what He clearly condemns in Scripture. The whole of the LGBTQ+ abomination is clearly condemned, yet they pervert this and insult God by calling Him 'trans', or queer. They push abortion on demand, the surgical mutilation of healthy bodies, and many other Leftist lies. They will be condemned by God at the final Judgment, as well as all those they led astray. Yet, if they repent and ask God for forgiveness, He is faithful. 

Other churches refuse to hold their members accountable for things like sex before marriage and couples living together without marriage. These same churches will quickly take men to task for their failings and sins, but the women? Not so much. Listen to a Mother's Day sermon and compare it with a Father's Day sermon, if the fathers even get one. Many churches are female-centric, instead of God-centric. The sermons are feminized rather than straight Gospel truth. These pastors are responsible for their flock, and many are lax in their job. There are healthy churches out there that teach the Scriptures and practice church discipline, but they are harder to find. Yet, they are worth the trouble of looking for.

Then, there are the churches that misuse Scripture to make the pastor rich. Think Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers et al. They more closely resemble the serpent in the Garden who asked: "Did God really say?" They more closely resemble pagan Gnostics. Their congregants are more like a hypnotized mass. Yet, if they repent and ask God for forgiveness, He is faithful.

The thing is, we will be held accountable. All the people who sit in their churches have access to the Word of God. They have the Scriptures easily at hand, in either physical or digital form. There has never in history been such easy access to God's Word as today, yet so many are illiterate. That is on them. They have the knowledge available, yet refuse to read and study it. The West is falling, and cannot fall back on: "But we didn't know!" Just like Israel of old, they've been warned time and time again, but they chose to turn away. God doesn't put up with that. Again, if we repent and ask God for forgiveness, He is faithful. We must turn away from these sins and seek forgiveness.

The Godless West

 Yes, this is a theme with me. The West, by my definition, means Nations that were formerly majority Christian. Yes, I include the US in that. We were once a majority-Christian nation, but that is no longer the case. This is observably true. It's true in every metric you can think of. The results of this are also impossible to miss. Everything that Christianity improved, or abolished, is reverting to pagan madness. From the slaughter of babies, to the so-called sexual revolution, to the trans madness, the breakdown of the family, and the complete corruption in government, from local all the way to the top nationally, to the rise of the evils of Leftism and the violence commensurate with it, are all due to our turning away from the one True God. The Judgement of the Lord

 I was reading Isaiah 47 today and couldn't help but think of the US. It was a Judgement against Babylon. Babylon was powerful and VERY wealthy. They were also very arrogant. God used them to punish Israel for whoring after other gods. Then, he Judged them. It made me think of the United States. I've often compared the US to Rome and believe that we have followed in Rome's footsteps at an accelerated pace. Yet, we also resemble Babylon in many ways. Israel as well.  When this Nation was formed, we weren't building an empire. Many who helped in the writing of our Constitution were leery of getting involved in the politics of other Nations.
