The Godless West

 Yes, this is a theme with me. The West, by my definition, means Nations that were formerly majority Christian. Yes, I include the US in that. We were once a majority-Christian nation, but that is no longer the case. This is observably true. It's true in every metric you can think of. The results of this are also impossible to miss. Everything that Christianity improved, or abolished, is reverting to pagan madness. From the slaughter of babies, to the so-called sexual revolution, to the trans madness, the breakdown of the family, and the complete corruption in government, from local all the way to the top nationally, to the rise of the evils of Leftism and the violence commensurate with it, are all due to our turning away from the one True God.

We also see it in the eruption of evil and greed in many a so-called church. Whether it's financial or sexual, many 'churches' have become like the world. Those sitting in the pews are goats playing at Christianity. It has been stated that God's judgment begins in the Church. This seems to me to be true. Because so much of the church has rotted away, so has the culture. Many churches don't stand for the truth of God's Word any longer. Rather, they have invented a feel-good, feminized gospel, which is not the True Gospel, and have created a god in their own fantasy image. The results are plain to see and were entirely predictable. It will only get worse as those who hold to the True Gospel die off, and the new Apostates take over. Yet, there will remain a remnant of the truly faithful.

When the persecution of these eventually comes, the church will grow. The devil's playbook has shown this over and over. There is a winnowing going on right now. As true Christians refuse to bend to the perversions that are growing, and even push back, you will see the goats abandon their churches, since they don't want to be seen as 'mean' and intolerant. Those who remain will attract others whose eyes are opening to the evil they've supported, and the church will once more grow, albeit slowly. 

The West is mostly done due to its unfaithfulness to God. Most Nations are past the point of no return and will not recover from the decades of unchecked immigration, legal or otherwise, not to mention the moral pollution they've blindly allowed to increase. The decades of Leftist governance have all but hollowed them out. I include the US in that assessment. It will take longer due to the sheer size of this nation. They won't be able to stamp it all out. The only possible way to reverse it would be if God granted us a revival and a return to Him on a grand scale, the likes of which has never been seen. Will He? I don't know. Israel finally wore out His patience when they rejected Jesus. They were destroyed in 70 AD. No, I do not put modern Israel on par with that covenant nation. Modern Israel is just another nation that rejects Jesus. 

For those of us who hold true, we must continue, no matter how hard it gets. God wins in the end, whether that end is 50 or 5000 years from now. The reward for those of us who hold true to the Faith is beyond comprehension. To those who reject Him, their end is too terrible to contemplate.
