Cultural Rot

 In his book "The Vanishing Conscience", John MacArthur asked, "How low can our culture sink?". Well, look around. It has sunk pretty far since that book came out in 2005. We see people cheering on the murder of a health care ceo. We see them cheering on the murder of babies, the mutilation of children, convinced by their elders that they are not really what they were born as. We see them supporting Islamists in their quest to murder every Jew they can, not realizing that once the evil that is Islam is in charge, they'd be next. We've seen again and again that politicians will put people at risk to get what they want most, more power and control. We see people voting for those who fantasize about murdering a mother and her children because they're politics are different! I can go on, but you get the picture. 

How low can it go? I honestly don't think we've seen the bottom. As I've stated in other posts, this is God's Judgement on those who've turned away from Him. It's everywhere, from Main Street, through every facet of government, right into the so-called church. Evil and debauchery reign, and we have yet to feel the full weight of the consequences that will eventually result. This Judgement is all across the Western world. Europe, having once freed itself from the evils of Islam, has invited it back in. They've imported millions of them and support them at the expense of their own citizens. They even tailor their laws to give them supremacy. It is this cultural rot, this turning away from God, that will bring about the death of the Western world. Then darkness will take over. Until people turn back to God in repentance and cry out for His mercy and forgiveness, the darkness will continue to swell and expand. I pray that people will wake up, but I am not confident that they will.
