 I write a lot about the evil and depravity that is so prevalent in our culture. About the rot that continues to fester, and the betrayal of politicians and churches to Islam and the LGBTQ+ perversions. One might accuse me of being a sour curmudgeon, of seeing no good in our world. They might even be somewhat correct in that accusation. I'm not totally a curmudgeon, though. I see much beauty in God's creation, and that gives me hope. His word also gives me hope. Here's a little information about me. I'm over 60, my body is pretty broken, and I'm in pain every day of my life. I'm currently unemployed and do not have health insurance. I'm looking at a bad end for the last days of my life. I've prayed to God before I go to bed that He would heal me, or that I not wake up in this world. It gets that bad. Yet, He keeps waking me up, and I'm not healed.  In his book "The Vanishing Conscience", John MacArthur asked, "How low can our culture sink?". Well, look around. It has sunk pretty far since that book came out in 2005. We see people cheering on the murder of a health care ceo. We see them cheering on the murder of babies, the mutilation of children, convinced by their elders that they are not really what they were born as. We see them supporting Islamists in their quest to murder every Jew they can, not realizing that once the evil that is Islam is in charge, they'd be next. We've seen again and again that politicians will put people at risk to get what they want most, more power and control. We see people voting for those who fantasize about murdering a mother and her children because they're politics are different! I can go on, but you get the picture.  How low can it go?  If you wonder what the greatest danger to the church is today, all you need to do is look inside the church. There are many 'pastors' coming out of leftwing seminaries these days. Most seminaries have shifted leftward as they have been infiltrated by individuals who conceal their true beliefs to secure employment. Once inside, and after achieving a certain status, they are no longer as careful to conceal their true beliefs. You see this in many Southern Baptist Seminaries, as well as others. Yes, the leftward drift is also plain in the Roman Church. It has been going on for some time. When a so-called Christian organization starts promoting things that Scripture is decidedly against, you must close your eyes to deny it. The acceptance of women pastors, the LGBTQ+ crowd, and the pro-abortion folks are a dead giveaway. Yet many in those churches refuse to speak up about it.  As the West and the US come apart at the seams, it's critical that Christians stand firm in the faith. We must stand for the Word of God and not weaken and compromise. If you're in the Word, you know what God demands. You know what sin is. You know that you must not compromise. Scripture tells us that "friendship with the world is enmity with God." No compromise there.  We are seeing God's Judgement accelerating as this Nation strays further and further away from Him. We see rampant corruption and perversity across all political lines, and it's only getting worse. Many Pastors have been compromised and no longer teach the whole Gospel.  They make excuses and say we should accept this sexual sin, or that perversion of the Law. They will come under harsher judgment as they are supposed to be shepherds protecting the flock. Instead, they lead people astray with a perverted 'gospel'.
