God in the flesh, or a madman. There can be no other choice.

Those are the choices with regards to Jesus. He was either who he said he was, God in the flesh, or he was a liar and a madman. Two choices. One that leads to life everlasting, and one that leads to Hell. Make no mistake, on this decision, lies your eternal future.  There is no middle ground left to you. If Jesus truly is God in flesh, then he IS The Christ, the savior, the Messiah, the Chosen One of God. If he is, then you must follow him or suffer the consequences for all eternity. If he wasn't, then he was a madman who deserves no honor.

There are those who say "He was a good man and a good teacher, but certainly not God." That doesn't wash. Jesus said, "I and the Father are One." He also said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." And, "Before Abraham was, I Am" That "I Am" incensed the Jews of the day as it was a claiming of being God. So, either Jesus IS who he claimed, or he WAS a madman. You notice there is no middle ground?

There wasn't meant to be. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father, except through me." That is plain and pretty exclusive. Jesus talked of two paths and gates in this life. Matthew 7:13-14 reads "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." Jesus is the narrow gate and the narrow way.

It IS hard to follow him. To do so, you stand against every evil the World loves. These days that means Homosexuality, Abortion, the LGBTQ+ insanity, fornication, corruption, and many other similar evils. You have to tell people they are sinners in need of saving. That their works are evil before a Holy and Righteous God. People don't like that. Most think they are good, or that calling anyone a sinner is mean. You see many churches becoming friends with the World, accepting their sin and saying it's not sin. Friendship with the World is enmity with God. I guess many missed that verse, that warning from Jesus. But then, they preach a different gospel, a different Jesus. Jesus warned in Matthew 7: 21-23 "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name and do many mighty works in your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you, depart from me you workers of lawlessness!" Many a so-called believer will hear that for many have been lead astray by false teachers.

The Gospel is fairly straightforward. We are all sinners and we cannot pay that debt to a Holy and Righteous God. Therefore, He sent His only son, the spotless, sinless lamb to pay the penalty of all who believe in Him and repent of their sins. He paid for us in blood on that cross. He took the full cup of God's wrath and drank it dry. He arose on the 3rd day and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Cry out to Him for mercy, and he is faithful to forgive and to save you. Repent of your sins, turn away from evil and follow his commands. BELIEVE in Him. As Scripture says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you WILL be saved."

The time is almost here where this belief will be punished. It will be ostracized and eventually outlawed. We're already starting to see it in several Western nations. It is a hard choice by man's standards. By eternal standards, it should be an easy choice. Please men, or please God. I can't speak for anyone else, but as for me, I will serve the Lord. Joshua said that. It's a beautiful sentiment.
