1 Corinthians 5:9-13

9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people;10 I did not at all mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the greedy and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world.11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is a sexually immoral person, or greedy, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one.12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Are you not to judge those who are within the church?13 But those who are outside, God will judge. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.
For those who mistakenly say Christinas shouldn't judge, this should clear it up. Paul speaks of judging believers in the church, that God judges those outside the church. Also, we must go out intoThe World or we cannot follow the great commission to spread the Gospel. We are IN the World, not OF the World. There is a distinction here. This does NOT mean we seal ourselves off in enclaves or communes to not soil ourselves with the evil of the world. We do not judge those outside the church. We do NOT allow sin to flourish IN the church. This is where church discipline comes in. Too few churches practice this any more. This is why so many are losing their salt, so to speak.
There are two religions in the world; The True faith that is of The Bible and Christ, and the pagan world which encompasses everything else. There are two types of people; Children of God, and Children of Wrath. There are the unsaved, and the saved. Yet all are sinners. Those of us who are saved still sin. Being saved doesn't mean you no longer sin, but that you grieve in every fiber of your being when you sin. You humbly go before the Father and seek forgiveness. The unsaved do not. Continual sin hardens ones heart. The hardening continues the longer one refuses to cry out for forgiveness and repents.
SEE your sin. Recognize it for what it is. Run to Christ and cry out to God for forgiveness. He is faithful to those who are humble and sincere. Ramble ends.
