 As we come into another celebration of the birth of the Messiah, it is well to consider that He alone is the hope of Israel. We celebrate it in December, but I've seen a credible theory posit that he was actually born in September. It matters not. He was truly born, and He brought us the Good News of the Gospel, the way to be reconciled to God, for Jew and Gentile alike. Israel was in rebellion against God when He came, and He warned them of their coming destruction. Israel is STILL in rebellion against God. Until Israel repents and turns to their one true Savior, they remain under judgment.  There is one Israel of God, comprised of Jews and Gentiles alike, who serve the one true Messiah of God, Jesus.  Since I am no one of note, as well as aging, I can pretty much say what I think and damn any consequences. Besides, I really don't care. So, here goes; Israel. Here's my take on that Nation. I believe they have the right to exist as much as any other Nation. They are not, however, special. I am NOT a Zionist. I am a Christian, and have a love for the Nation as well as Jews. My Lord and Savior came as a Jew. Is the modern State of Israel a 'special' Nation with regard to Christianity? I don't think so. Most Israelis can't trace their lineage, and most are not pure Jews. All temple records were destroyed in AD 70 when Rome destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple. The Levitical Priesthood is gone. Modern Judaism is primarily Rabbinical and Talmudic, rather than Mosaic.  We are a foolish people, we humans. We seem quite unable to learn. Take President Trump. The Leftists absolutely HATE him. Pure, raw, unadulterated HATE. Listen to them. They're more than willing to take him, his cabinet, and anyone who remotely supports him and put them into camps, prison, or even kill them. They blatantly say it. Leftists MEAN what they say. Yet, so many on the right keep repeating the bullsh*t that the US is turning around, or that the Left is done, or that the trans infection is dying. Fools! None of Trump's Executive Orders have been codified into Law by the Republican Congress. That means that when the Left regains power, and they will, Everything Trump has done will be destroyed.
